Inclusive Bowls Club
The Leicester Visually Impaired Bowls Club is an established charity providing visually impaired bowlers with the opportunity to take part in a mixed ability bowls team.
We believe that we are the only visually impaired club of this type in the country. We are a nomadic club who play midweek afternoon matches from April to September. We are invited by various clubs all over Leicestershire to come and play a friendly match with them at their club.
Our all-important volunteers are vital to the club. They not only provide transport for our players they also enable the visually impaired to play as part of a team. This is very rewarding for all concerned.
No previous bowling experience is required, and you can play as little or as often as your existing commitments allow.
We give the visually impaired an opportunity to get out into the community and take part in a sport giving enormous health and wellbeing benefits to them.
So, whether you are visually impaired or know someone who is or could volunteer to help us and enjoy a friendly afternoon of bowls.
We may be the club for you!
